No. RegiaPro runs in the browser, on your computer and on your phone: nothing to install, nothing to update, and your data does not sit on a machine that can break.

The one exception is RegiaPro Photo, the app for culling RAW files: that runs on your own Mac, because it has to read thousands of files off the disk and nobody wants to upload them somewhere first.

RegiaPro was written by a photographer for his own studio, not by a software company for a market. It shows: screens tell you what they are about to do before they do it, error messages are in plain English, and anything that touches your files always shows you what it is about to do.

Fourteen days with the whole Pro plan switched on, no credit card: not a cut-down version, the full product.

In the first 48 hours we ask you for three things — upload a real shoot, connect WhatsApp, send a gallery link to a client — and anyone who does all three gets another 7 days. At the end the account goes read-only on its own: no charge, because you never gave us a card.

The whole path, step by step.

About half an hour for the essentials: account, letterhead and tax details, one quote template, your calendar connected. Price lists and contract templates can come later, one at a time, while you are already working.

Not from an Excel or CSV file yet. Importing from a file is planned, but the rules are not settled: which columns are needed, how many clients at a time, what happens to someone who is already in there. We write it here rather than promise it and let you find out later that it works some other way.

What does exist today is the Google sheet: a spreadsheet of your own, inside your own Google account, that RegiaPro fills in and keeps up to date by itself, one job per row. Anyone used to thinking in rows and columns finds it ready without changing the way they already work. You connect it once, and the last step we do for you.

On servers in Europe: the software, the database, the galleries and the archive. It is a deliberate choice, because inside RegiaPro there are phone numbers, addresses, amounts and photographs of people — often children.

Each studio sees only its own material, and that does not rest on the good memory of whoever writes the code: the database itself refuses to hand back another studio's rows. That holds even on the day someone gets a line of code wrong.

They are yours and they stay yours. We hold them so that you can deliver them, and a published gallery contains only reduced-size versions: the original file that came out of the camera is never sent to anybody's browser.

The published copies have the GPS location stripped out — the one your camera writes into every shot. In a wedding gallery that line says where the bride lives, and it would go to anyone with the link.

Never, and that is not negotiable. Emails go out from a service address with the reply-to set to your address: when the client replies, the reply reaches you as always.

The account goes back to read-only: you still see the whole history — clients, quotes, contracts, invoices, galleries — but you don't create anything new, and after 30 days the galleries are paused.

Your data is never deleted. That is a written rule, not a favor: someone with ten years of weddings in there cannot risk losing them over a missed month.

A “download everything as CSV or Excel” button inside RegiaPro does not exist today, and it is on the list of things to build: we say so now instead of letting you find out on the day you need it. What does exist, if you have connected the Google sheet, is that the sheet is yours and sits in your own Google account: RegiaPro writes your jobs into it row by row, and what is written there stays there even if the subscription stops.

The exact notice period for cancelling will be written in the terms of service: that is not something we make up here.

No — and that is not a missing feature, it is a choice. RegiaPro works out who needs following up, writes the message and puts it in front of you. Sending is always your click.

The reason is practical: software that writes to your clients while you are shooting in a church, and gets it wrong, does not save you time. It costs you a great deal more.

It is planned, and it will be registered to your number and your account, not ours: the relationship with Meta stays yours.

not live yet The connection needs an approval from Meta that has to be applied for and granted, and it has not come through yet. Until then you prepare the messages in RegiaPro and send them from your phone.

Not yet. It gets everything ready — picks the photos from the gallery, crops them to story format, writes the caption, queues the post for the right day and time — and tells you when the moment comes. The last click is yours.

When the direct connection goes live, only that last step changes: everything else is already final.

it is here It is RegiaPro Photo: you download it from your account, it weighs 17 MB and runs on any Mac with macOS 11 (Big Sur) or newer.

The first time it needs the internet, to activate: a couple of minutes, and until you have done that it will not cull. After that it renews by itself every time the Mac is online, without asking you anything. And on location, where there is no signal, you keep working for up to thirty days.

It is included in the Pro, Full and Studio plans and in the 14 days of Full Trial. On Start it is not included, but you can try it: the trial license expires and stays tied to your account.

The plan is for every charge to generate an electronic invoice to the Italian SdI system, using the recipient code collected at sign-up. It is not switched on yet, and until it is we will not write it up as though it were.

RegiaPro is built for people who work by appointment and sell by quote: the structure fits bridal hair and makeup artists, florists and stylists, audio and lighting crews, caterers, ceremony musicians, wedding planners, DJs and chauffeur services just as well.

That said: today the wording, the templates and the examples are written for photography. It would work, but you would have to rewrite the templates yourself. We would rather tell you now than have you find out after paying.
