Data deletion

Last updated: 28 / 09 / 2026

In two lines

Your data is yours, and we delete it when you ask us to. If you only want to disconnect Instagram, or your Facebook Page, you do it yourself, right now, in two clicks: there is no need to write to anyone and no need to wait for us. If instead you want us to delete everything, write to info@regiapro.it and we take care of it.

Are you a studio's client using the RegiaPro app? You can delete your account yourself, inside the app: tap the person icon at the top right, then Delete my account.

1. Disconnecting Instagram: you do it yourself

Inside RegiaPro:

  1. open Social in the left-hand menu;
  2. find the panel of the connected Instagram account;
  3. press Scollega (disconnect), and confirm when it asks you to.

What happens the moment you confirm. The access credential Meta had issued to us is deleted. From that instant RegiaPro can no longer read anything from your profile and can no longer publish: it is not that it stops out of politeness, it simply no longer has the means.

If no prepared post named that account, the row holding the username and the identifier disappears as well. If some post still named it, that row stays switched off and without a credential, so as not to leave those posts pointing at nothing: we remove it altogether if you ask us, along with the rest.

You can also withdraw the permission from the Instagram side, and that is your right regardless of us: in your Instagram settings, under Apps and websites, remove RegiaPro from the list.

One thing we cannot do, and it is right to say it straight away. Posts that have already gone out on Instagram stay on Instagram: they are on your profile, not with us. You remove those from Instagram yourself, as you would any other post of yours.

1-bis. Disconnecting the Facebook Page: you do it yourself

The Facebook Page is a separate connection from Instagram: it is turned on separately and removed separately. If you have never pressed «Connect the Facebook Page» inside RegiaPro, this section does not concern you.

Inside RegiaPro:

  1. open Social in the left-hand menu;
  2. go to the Settings tab, Facebook Pages box;
  3. next to the connected Page press Disconnect, and confirm with Yes, disconnect.

What happens the moment you confirm. The record of that connection is deleted, and with it the access credential Meta had issued to us for that Page. From that instant RegiaPro can no longer read anything about that Page and can no longer publish on it: it is not that it politely stops, it simply no longer has the means. The other connected profiles keep working.

You can also remove the permission from Facebook's side, and that is your right regardless of us: in your Facebook account settings, under Apps and websites, remove RegiaPro from the list. In that case the credential we hold stops working immediately and the Page stops; the record of the connection, however, stays inside RegiaPro until you press Disconnect or ask us for deletion. We write this because it is true, not because it suits us.

What we cannot do. Posts already published on the Page stay on the Page: they are on Facebook, not with us. You remove those from Facebook, as you would with any other post on your Page. All that stays with us is the line in your post history saying whether that post went out or not, and that disappears when the account is deleted.

2. Deleting all of your data

Write to info@regiapro.it from the email address of your account, saying that you want your data deleted. There is no form to fill in and you do not have to explain why.

We reply telling you what we are about to delete, and when it is done we confirm it to you in writing.

How we know it is really you

We check that the request comes from the email address registered on your account. If it reaches us from a different address, before touching anything we write to the registered one. That is why this does not start from a button: deletion is final, and we want to be sure that it is you asking.

How long we take

At most thirty days, and almost always much less. Thirty days is the time the European Regulation allows for a reply: it is a limit, not a habit.

3. What we delete

  • your account and your settings;
  • your clients' records and their contact details;
  • the photographs you uploaded and the galleries, including the ones already delivered;
  • quotes, contracts and documents you kept inside;
  • the Instagram connection and its access credential;
  • the connection to the Facebook Page, its access credential and the outcomes of the posts published on that Page;
  • the other connections — Google Calendar, WhatsApp — and their credentials.

Read this line before writing to us. The galleries you had sent to your clients stop working: whoever opens that link sees nothing any more. If you have deliveries under way, download everything and deliver it some other way before asking us to delete.

4. What we cannot delete, and why

  • Posts already published on Instagram and on the Facebook Page. They are on Instagram and on Facebook, on your profile and on your Page. You remove those from there.
  • The invoices we issued to you for the subscription. Italian law requires accounting records to be kept for ten years. It is not our choice and we cannot do without it.
  • The backups. They rotate and overwrite themselves. A backup may still hold your data for a few weeks after the deletion, and then it disappears with the rotation. Nothing is fished back out of those copies, except to put the service back on its feet after a failure.

5. If you have an active subscription

Cancelling your subscription and asking for your data to be deleted are two different things.

If you only cancel, your data stays where it is, read-only, and we do not delete it: it is written out in full on the Refunds and cancellation page and in the Terms of use.

If instead you ask us to delete, we delete everything. So download what you need before writing to us: afterwards there is no way back.

6. The other rights you have

Besides deletion you can ask what data we hold, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, or ask us to restrict its use. You ask at the same address, info@regiapro.it. How we handle data is written out in full in the Privacy Policy.

If you think we have not answered you as we should have, you can turn to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
