Anyone organising an event talks to several people for the same job: the couple and their parents, the HR office and the accounts department that pays. On the client’s record you write who decides and who receives the invoice, and attach floor plans, menus and signed contracts.
The guest count changes right up to the last week. With each change you redo the quote from the same record: the updated version has its own number, while the ones already sent stay available to look at. Once the date is confirmed you see it on the calendar, and the balance is split into the instalments you agreed.
